I loved this wedding so much, not just because Katie & Danny are a brilliant couple, and not just because they have an amazing bunch of friends and family, but also because of all the lovely touches and beautiful details that filled this gorgeous wedding day in Wales. It was a really relaxed and fun event, with the ceremony taking place at the local village church in Llandinam, Powys, and the celebrating happening in a tipi down the road at Plas Dinam Country House, all surrounded by the breathtaking Welsh mountain scenery. Katie and Danny travelled in style in 2CV Wedding Cars, and we stopped off on the way for some lovely couple photos in Katie’s parents’ garden. The tipi, by Event in a Tent, looked absolutely stunning thanks to Katie & Danny’s hard work, filled with rustic tables & chairs, country flowers and home-made jam favours, DIY bunting, vintage suitcases and shabby-chic details. The cake table was also mightily impressive – guests had been asked to bring their best cake and they produced some showstoppers! Pride of place though was the ‘naked’ wedding cake which had been made by family friends in the W.I. Guests gathered around the firepit and as the drinks flowed and the sun set, the celebrating and dancing went on by firelight… Here are some favourites from their day – huge congratulations to Katie and Danny! x
